Both Activist Solutions projects, the Exchange and DNA described above, will need a great deal of support from participating organizations.
The projects will need input from all participating organizations as well as from individuals. Feedback, suggestions, and advice on any part of its projects, policy, and procedures at every step of the way will be welcome.
The Solution Exchange will include the ideas for solutions to the target problems of as many diverse political advocacy organizations as can be recruited. Participating organizations will be able to post solutions to whatever problems they are currently targeting. They will also be asked to comment on and rate the contributions of other organizations and individuals, and to respond to comments that other participants post in response to their solutions.
All participating organizations will be called on to invite their members and supporters to contribute to the Solution Exchange (and later to join the Dialogue Network for Action groups). Their members will be encouraged to post their own solutions to public problems, or to comment on the solutions that their organization and others have posted. All groups will also be encouraged to keep their members and supporters informed of the progress of both projects and of new ways to get involved.
Interested organizations will also be asked to contribute a list of the public problems that they consider important, as well as whatever background information they have about the issues of particular concern to them.
