McMahon Talking Points

I've started topics on MixedInk.com for each of the four "types" of presentation we'll be giving at the meeting. I'm putting them all here on this private page of my website for easy reference. I recommend that you bookmark this page.

McMahon's record

Richie sent me some great links to past statements by McMahon on environmental issues, particularly his interest in setting up the former NASCAR site as a green industrial center. I think we should reference these proposals when we meet him, and be prepared to make comparisons between the CEC and some of the ideas and goals Mike has articulated in the past. Take a look:

"Locally, McMahon has proposed developing the former NASCAR site in Staten Island as a green industrial center that would manufacture solar panels and other green energy technology, while generating energy on site through solar panels and a wind farm. He also supports the Borough
President's proposal to create a wind farm on a portion of Fresh Kills Park."
