Problem Not Seen In Solution Exchange Index

Today, July 10th I posted two new PROBLEMS. One of them (Job Market is ....) is fully listed in the Solution Exchange Index in all of the appropriate places. The other one (Minimum Wage Too Low) is not found in the Solution Exchange Index but I can find it if I go to My Recent Posts.

Index is not updated immediately
I would imagine that your second posted problem will show up in the next half-hour or so. Having the index updated constantly apparently strains the system, so ours is set up to update every hour or so. I'll keep checking on it. If it doesn't show up soon, I'll let Augustin know.
It is a caching problem.
Yes, the main directory page is very resource hungry, so we had to use some caching mechanism.
In some circumstances, the content posted within 1 hours after the cache has been cleared will not appear until yet another post is made at least one hour later.
William's first post prompted the cache to be cleared. The second post was made within the hour of the first, so it didn't trigger an upgrade of the directory page. It didn't appear until after the hour had elapsed AND new content had been posted.
One can always find the latest posts on the Recent posts or My Recent posts pages.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but it is barely avoidable.

Immediately after the above post, I went to the directory and it was there.
notification problems
