Making Peace

I was talking to my friend, giving them good advice when I heard myself say: “I’d like you to help me make friends with Natasha. Our animosity has been growing more and more and she has ceased to be human for me. She has become an archetypical enemy. Our connection has become old and stuck in its tracks. I need to find a way to transform our relationship from enemies to friends.”

Being a middle aged person myself, I would like to somehow find a solution for being financially secure and being middle aged or elderly. This is for all middle aged/elderly people. Things have changed. Jobs with secure pension plans going out of business have cut down the amount of pension received.

At some point the business sector realized the best way to take advantage of consumers was to use default options that make them spend money. A default option works because it creates an automatic decision by the consumer doing nothing. And doing nothing is the path of least resistance for time-poor consumers struggling to balance the many difficult responsibilities associated with work, family, maintaining financial security, and coping with stresses on their health.

I like that this web sites focusses on solutions rather than problems. Very often the solutions to stated problems have been known for a long time. The real problem is that those Solutions are not implemented.

This site is called Activist Solutions: it is a site for activists to put into practice known solutions. We don't need yet another web site to state what has already been stated dozens of times in various more specialized sites. The specificity of this site is to allow members to band together behind solutions and take actions.
